Mike is a Professional Agrologist, Soil Scientist, and Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control with a career built around understanding and improving soil systems. With extensive experience in land reclamation, ecological restoration, and soil health, mike specializes in restoring disturbed landscapes and developing sustainable solutions that improve soil structure, stability, and long-term land productivity.
Throughout his career, Mike has worked on a wide range of reclamation and restoration projects, applying science-based approaches to bring degraded land back to functional, healthy ecosystems. His expertise in soil behavior, water management, erosion control, and land rehabilitation allows him to develop innovative strategies that balance environmental responsibility with practical land-use needs.
Mike’s professional expertise and lifelong involvement with horses led to the partnership in Anchor G Bar and Arena FX, a company focused on improving equine arena surfaces and reducing dust while enhancing footing performance.
Arena FX reflects his unique ability to bridge soil science with real-world application, combining his technical understanding of soil systems with firsthand experience in the equine industry.
